We have arrived at Cowroast for St George's Day celebrations! Great to meet up with old friends.
Lovely food & raffle to raise money for Charity. We were priveledged to stay in a friends' moorings, but we did cut the grass!
We took our leave and made our way slowly to Berkhampstead,Winkwell, Grove and eventually Rickmansworth for the Canal Festival. Along the cut we met up with friends & family making it a very enjoyable journey. Lovely stay at Grove with walks in Golf course
Rickmansworth festival was a fantastic weekend, glorious weather, lovely walks around the lakes and entertainment thanks to Paul having a 'taster' session of canoeing! We also celebrated John's 60th birthday and helped Eve out with 30 school children, teaching them about how to work a lock!
Appointments and two Christenings were attended and we then made our way back to base slowly.
Arrived back at Cowroast towards the end of June. Glorious weather and beautiful scenery, met up with friends to celebrate their safe return from Australia and another friends' birthday.
We hope to get back to Marswoth middle of July.
